To assure the safety and health of the residents of Southern

Jefferson County by setting and enforcing standards; providing

training, outreach, and education, establishing partnerships,

and encouraging continual quality improvement in emergency

medical services care.

South Jefferson Rescue Squad, Inc. is a volunteer ambulance corps dedicated to serving southern Jefferson County that exists to accomplish three major goals:

• Continue to lead in advancement of emergency medical services patient care and community awareness of health issues

• Exceed our members and community expectations by achieving our short and long term goals

• Provide an organization for hard working, dedicated knowledgeable, and ethical people who believe in this organization and this philosophy
