All training is provided FREE of charge. The only requirment to drive is a REGULAR drivers license. NOTHING else is required.

Active Membership- an active member takes regular ambulance call, attends meetings, has the right to vote and may hold office.
Service Membership- A service member provides a service to the organization without the requirement of taking regular ambulance call.
Levels of Providers
Driver- The driver is expected to operate the ambulance in a safe and responsible manner, obeying all laws and Squad policies. The driver should be able to assist with equipment and patient handling.
First Responder- Basic lifesaving skills such as CPR, patient assessment and treating injuries.
Emergency Medical Technician- An EMT is the minimum lever of provider that must be on an ambulance in New York State. The EMT provides basic life saving, oxygen administration, splinting of suspected fractures, spinal immobilization and more.
Emergency Medical Technician: Intermediate- As listed above PLUS intravenous therapy, intubation and advanced treatment of shock.
Emergency Medical Technician: Critical Care- As listed above PLUS cardiac monitoring and drug therapy.
Emergency Medical Technician: Paramedic- As listed above PLUS advanced patient assessment and Rapid Sequence Intubation.
