ADAMS, NY – South Jefferson Rescue Squad, Inc. is pleased to announce that they now have a location for the Thrift Store! The old Knapp Hardware building (13263 US RT 11 in Adams Center).

“Rescued Treasures” is a not-for-profit Thrift Store to serve southern Jefferson County. The income from the Thrift Store will be utilized to help cover the ever-increasing costs associated with emergency medical services. “Our intention is to provide a much-needed service to the community that we so proudly serve” states Debbie Singleton, Executive Director. Mrs. Singleton states “this was identified as a need in the community and we are happy to fill the void”. The hours of operation will be Wednesday – Friday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. See the Flyer below!!!!

Donations of clothing, linen, small kitchen appliances, small furniture and general household goods that are in working condition are needed. The store will not be accepting the following donations: CRT or tube televisions, large fitness equipment, large appliances, mattresses, pillows, cribs and car seats (due to government regulations). We do ask that donations not include broken or incomplete (i.e. toys, games). Contact names/numbers will be announced shortly. All donations are tax deductible and we would be happy to provide you documentation for tax purposes.

Due to the over whelming support of the community we are asking that you call the rescue squad @ 315-232-2624 and talk to Debbie or Darlene to schedule a delivery time. Please do not leave items at the premises outside unattended.

We realize that so many of you have been cleaning and collecting items to donate and we want to start to take those deliveries! Please remember that we DO NOT take the following items:
Used Mattresses/Pillows
Sleeper Sofas
CRT or Tube Televisions
Computer Monitors
Cell Phones
Large Fitness Equipment
Cribs/Crib Mattresses
Car Seats
Broken Electrical Appliances

South Jefferson Rescue Squad's "Rescued Treasures" Thrift Store had its ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, June 13th. Thank you to all that came!

The Rescue Squad would like to thank the Six Town Chamber of Commerce for providing refreshments after the ceremony!

A handmade Queen size quilt made by Krista Juczak has been donated to Rescued Treasures!!!

We will be holding a silent auction for this quilt July 15, 2020 - August 16, 2020. The opening bid will be $100
